3M 361 Glass Cloth Tape is composed of a woven glass fiber backing and has a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive. It is suitable for applications that require high temperature resistance, high adhesion, and clean removal. It is usually used in high temperature applications, such as sealing pipes and as a support belt for submerged arc welding, and is suitable for many applications that require high temperature resistance, high adhesion, and a very strong wear-resistant backing.

Applications:

It is suitable for meeting and sealing panels and high temperature shielding in the aerospace, roof, special vehicle and shipbuilding industries.

1. High temperature applications require high tensile strength, good retention and abrasion resistance.
2. Permanent sealing of high temperature pipes or chambers.
3. As a support belt for submerged arc welding.
4. The application requires heat treatment, and then clean to remove the tape, with little or no stains.

Die cutting designs can includes holes, shapes, oversized lines (for easy removal) and complimentary products can also be incorporated.
